Terms of Service

The Fantasy War Room is a fantasy football analytics tool: it helps you build your own player rankings, run a draft, analyse your league, and evaluate trades. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, don’t use it.

The service is in private beta. Features change, break, and occasionally disappear. Data loss is unlikely but possible. Do not treat this as a system of record for anything you cannot reconstruct.

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough where you live to form a binding contract, or have a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf. One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think it has been compromised.

Where the app relies on a source with known gaps, it says so rather than filling the hole with a guess. Take those disclosures seriously — a blank is more honest than an invented number.

You keep ownership of what you bring: uploaded projection files, your rankings, your settings, your feedback. You grant us the limited licence we need to operate the service for you — to store it, process it, compute on it, back it up, and display it back to you. That licence is for operating the service, and nothing else: it does not permit us to sell, rent, or license your data or content to anyone, and we do not. That commitment is spelled out in full in section 2 of the Privacy Policy, and it is part of the deal these terms describe — not marketing copy we can quietly drop.

Aggregate, de-identified measurements derived from usage — for example, what kinds of trades real managers accept — may be used to improve the models. This is how the product gets better at proposing plausible trades instead of lopsided ones. The Privacy Policy describes exactly what is retained and for how long, including the parts that outlive your account.

Only upload files you have the right to upload. Some projection and ranking datasets are licensed by their publisher; respecting that licence is your responsibility, not ours.

The app reads data from third-party fantasy platforms at your direction. Two things follow from that.

Their rules still apply to you. Your use of Sleeper, ESPN, Yahoo or any other platform remains governed by that platform’s own terms of service. Linking a league here does not create any relationship between us and them, and does not exempt you from their rules. If a platform changes or removes its API, rate-limits us, or blocks access, the corresponding features stop working and that is outside our control.

Don’t:

• Scrape, bulk-export, or resell the service's output, or use it to build a competing dataset.
• Automate access outside the app's own interface, or try to route around usage limits with multiple accounts.
• Attempt to access another user's account, data, or league — including by guessing identifiers.
• Probe, load-test, or attack the service. Good-faith security research is welcome, but email us first (see the Privacy Policy) rather than testing in production.
• Upload malware, or files crafted to break the parser rather than to be parsed.
• Use the service to violate a fantasy platform's terms, or to facilitate gambling where it is unlawful.

Usage limits apply per account and exist to keep our costs and the platforms’ rate limits survivable. They are enforced in software; hitting one is not a punishment.

We aim to keep the service up, particularly on draft days and Sundays, but we do not promise any level of uptime. There is no service-level agreement during beta.

Draft day is the one moment when downtime genuinely hurts, so plan for it: know your board before you sit down, and be ready to draft without us. A tool that helps you decide is not a tool you should be unable to draft without.

Plans and prices are published on our pricing page. A paid plan is a one-time purchase covering a single season — there is no subscription, nothing auto-renews, and there is nothing to cancel. A season runs to the following January 15, so a plan bought later in a season is shorter than one bought before it; the exact end date is shown before you pay and on your account afterwards. When it ends, the plan lapses and the account returns to the free tier.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep only a customer identifier, what you bought, and when it expires.

Prices may change for future seasons. A change never affects a season you have already bought, and we will publish a new price before it applies to anyone.

Thirty days, no questions asked. Email us within thirty days of a purchase and we will refund it in full. You do not have to tell us why.

Separately, and without a time limit: if the app is down or wrong during your draft, we will refund that season. A draft happens once and cannot be re-run, so this one is not a negotiation — tell us it happened and we will refund it.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method, and end access to the paid plan they covered.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, or that is putting the service or other users at risk. If we shut the service down entirely, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate it produces will prove correct.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost leagues, lost bets, lost data, or the outcome of any roster decision. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty-five US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, your breach of a fantasy platform’s terms, or content you uploaded that you did not have the right to upload.

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will update the date at the top and notify signed-in users in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. If you don’t, stop using the service and delete your account.
